Michael held events all over Colorado throughout the week to celebrate the strength of his campaign ahead of the General Election.
Throughout the week, Senator Michael Bennet traveled across the state to meet with supporters and rally enthusiasm for his general election campaign. Whether in Grand Junction, Denver, Fort Collins, Aurora, Thornton, or Colorado Springs, each campaign event turned out huge crowds and boasted Michael’s momentum ahead of the general.

The week kicked off in Grand Junction, where Michael visited two family-owned and operated local businesses to hear from the owners about how he can best deliver for them in the Senate.
“As Michael continues campaigning around the state, he is listening to the challenges Coloradans face,” explains Bennet for Colorado spokesperson Georgina Beven. “Michael delivers for hard-working Coloradans by bringing local Colorado voices and ideas to Washington.”In Grand Junction, Michael also stopped by the Mesa County Democratic office to speak with supporters and constituents.
“I believe we can create an economy that when it grows, it grows for everybody,” Michael told the crowd. “That’s what I’ve been fighting for in Washington and that is what I will continue to fight for In Washington.”

On Tuesday, Michael spent the morning in Fort Collins where he met with the Colorado Professional Firefighters, who have endorsed his Senate campaign.

That afternoon, Michael joined other statewide representatives and Democratic supporters to open field offices in Aurora and Downtown Denver.
“There are going to be Democratic candidates here in Colorado and there are going to be Democratic candidates running for election all over the country and we’re going to work hard to get them elected,” Michael told the crowd. “But candidates aren’t the only thing on the ballot. What’s really on the ballot is our democracy and we have to fight for the next generation.”
As Republicans fought with each other in their primary, Michael opened field offices and demonstrated Democrats’ strength going into the general election.

To continue his trail along the Front Range, Michael stopped in Colorado Springs and Thornton on Wednesday for more campaign kickoff celebrations.
“This is a moment for us all to come together. It’s general election time and we need unity,” Michael told the crowd in Colorado Springs. “We need people to hear the story of why this Democratic Party’s on the side of working people creating opportunity for everybody. And we can do it better if we’re unified.”
