WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman David Kustoff (TN-08) joined Rep. David Schweikert (AZ-06) in introducing the Permanent Extension of Rate Cuts and Extension of National Tax Simplification (PERCENTS) Act. This legislation will make all individual rates from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 permanent.
“The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act led to one of the strongest economies in U.S. history by creating jobs and increasing paychecks for Americans. This bill will make key provisions in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act permanent, giving much-needed relief to families and small businesses,” said Rep. Kustoff. “I am happy to have joined my colleague, Rep. Schweikert, in introducing this bill that will provide certainty to our tax code and boost the economy.”
