She has stood firmly with us and I know she will continue to stand for us in Washington DC. And now I am proud to stand with Deborah in her campaign to represent Colorado in the U.S. Senate.”

“I am very humbled to receive Sergeant Davis’ endorsement.” said Flora. “Sergeant Davis is a true American hero who exemplifies the spirit of service, bravery and selflessness that has made this country great. I am truly grateful to be endorsed by such an amazing patriot who has inspired so many.”

Sergeant Davis was awarded the Medal of Honor, the highest and most prestigious military decoration our nation bestows upon members of the military, for his uncommon valor while serving in Vietnam. He was presented with the medal on November 19, 1968 by President Lyndon B. Johnson during a ceremony at the White House. The Congressional Medal of Honor Society honors Sgt. Davis saying his “extraordinary heroism, at the risk of his life, is in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself and the U.S. Army.”

Deborah grew up in Colorado the daughter of a Lt. Col. serving on Lowry Air Force Base and her husband, Jonathan, is a veteran of the U.S Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. “I’ve seen the courage of our servicemen and women on display, and I know the incredible sacrifices our veterans have made to keep us safe.” said Flora.
