DENVER - The campaign for Republican candidate for United States Senate, Joe O’Dea, launched a website and radio advertisement highlighting the real record of Ron Hanks.
As Colorado Politics reported recently, “When Penrose Republican Rep. Ron Hanks ran for Congress in California in 2010, his answers to a survey on abortion, guns…. and unions might be a surprise to his constituents and maybe even to some of his fellow members in the House caucus.”
“Not only does this guy have no shot against Bennet, but now we find out he’s a typical politician twisting in the wind,” said former State Senator and O’Dea supporter, Greg Brophy. “The California version of Ron Hanks supported the rights of state workers to unionize, opposed a constitutional amendment imposing term limits on members of Congress, and campaigned on the fact that medical experts should have the power to decide when abortion is legal.”
“Now, the Colorado version of Ron Hanks behaves as if he is the most conservative person on the planet, detonating voting machines and trying to make control of the US Senate a referendum on ending abortion even in cases of the life of the mother,” added Brophy.
“Hanks is a political circus routine, not a leader. Conservatives who are serious about stopping Biden and taking back the Senate from Schumer should run from Ron Hanks,” concluded Brophy.

“The Real Ron Hanks” Script
Joe O’Dea.
A construction CEO &
conservative running for US Senate.
O’Dea will take the fight to Joe Biden on inflation, the border, and reckless spending.
Joe's primary opponent is Representative Ron Hanks.
The real Ron Hanks is just another politician.
Ron Hanks ran for Congress in California under a different name, Loren Hanks.
In California, Loren Hanks opposed a constitutional amendment imposing term limits on Members of Congress, and said state workers should be allowed to unionize.
But in Colorado, Hanks changed his mind.
Back in California, Loren Hanks said abortion should be allowed in cases when a medical expert says so.
But as a candidate in Colorado, Hanks says he opposes abortion in all cases -- even to save a mother’s life.
Ron Hanks has changed a lot more than just his name.
The Real Ron Hanks is a politician blowing in the wind.
