Today, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement after President Biden signed the Formula Act into law:

“Parents should never have to face the uncertainty of not knowing how they will feed their children, and I commend Trade Subcommittee Chairman Earl Blumenauer, Committee Vice Chair Suzan DelBene, along with Congressmen Dan Kildee and John Larson for their leadership in making this new law possible. The American people can count on us to continue responding to this crisis with the full force of the federal government until our shelves are restocked and their peace of mind has been restored.

The Formula Act temporarily suspends tariffs on imported infant formula until December 31, 2022.
