Meijer Calls on Congress to Improve America’s Fiscal Trajectory

The remarks follow last Friday’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) report which found that consumer prices increased 8.6 percent in May from the same month last year, marking its fastest pace since December of 1981. Inflation continues to impact families across West Michigan, with prices rising 8.8 percent in the Midwest.
