U.S. Representative Peter Meijer (R-MI), a member of the House Committee on Homeland Security, today participated in a hearing about election security titled, “The Changing Election Security Landscape: Threats to Election Officials and Infrastructure.” Rep. Meijer asked one of the witnesses, the Honorable Frank LaRose, Ohio Secretary of State, about policies related to timelines of reporting election results and the counting of absentee ballots that arrive after polls close.
