U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin D-Holly, urged Livingston County commissioners to use incoming federal funds to invest in broadband internet.

"Livingston is halfway through getting $37.2 million directly to the county," Slotkin said during the July 12 commissioners meeting. "We have this once-in-a-generation opportunity to get rural broadband in Livingston County."
