Today, Derrick Anderson, candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 7th District, received the endorsement of VA-10 Congressional Nominee and United States Navy veteran Hung Cao.
“It’s not the time for bureaucrats and politicians in Congress. It’s time for warriors like Derrick Anderson who will continue to fight for our constitution. I’ll be proud to stand beside him in Congress,” said Hung Cao.
“Hung Cao ran an outstanding race in VA-10 and I am honored to have him in my corner in the final weeks of my primary. We must flip the House and fire Nancy Pelosi to get our country back on track. I am the strongest candidate in the 7th district primary and am prepared to beat Abigail Spanberger. Thank you to my combat veteran brother, Hung Cao, for your support,” said Anderson.
Derrick Anderson is a native of Spotsylvania County, a graduate of Courtland High School, was in the Corps of Cadets at Virginia Tech, and received his J.D. from Georgetown Law. He is a former Special Forces “Green Beret” with 6 tours of duty overseas, including Afghanistan, Iraq, and various countries throughout the Middle East. Derrick was the first VA-07 candidate named to the Young Gun’s “On the Radar” list, and is being supported by SealPAC and multiple sitting members of Congress, including the only Green Beret in Congress, Mike Waltz and U.S. Senator Tom Cotton.
