Joe Kent’s campaign manager, Ozzie Gonzalez, made the following statement regarding the lies in Jamie’s latest radio ad attacking Joe Kent:
“Nothing in Jaime’s clumsy, sixty-second ad denies our charge that she voted three times to send $1.5 billion taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood, most recently just a few weeks ago.
Instead, she cites a “perfect rating” from a DC-based political action committee that endorsed her. The ad is effectively an admission that she did give taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood.
The ad repeatedly accuses Joe of lying but doesn’t cite a single lie. Instead, it regurgitates misleading information about Joe voting in a Democrat primary to provide President Trump with the weakest opponent – all while he was working for President Trump’s re-election campaign.
Joe Kent is the true pro-life champion in this race who will oppose giving even one penny to Planned Parenthood. Jaime has sold out the pro-life movement for a mess of pottage: corporate PAC contributions and a seat at the establishment table.”
