Governor Polis Appoints Amanda W. DeWick to the Broomfield County Court in the 17th Judicial District

DENVER - Today the Governor appointed Amanda W. DeWick to the Broomfield County Court in the 17th Judicial District. She is filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Amy E. Bockman.  The vacancy is effective immediately. 

Ms. DeWick is currently Special Counsel at Higgins, Hopkins, Mclain & Roswell, LLC, a position she has held since 2015. Her practice consists primarily of civil litigation defense. Previously, she was an Associate Litigation Attorney at Taylor Anderson, LLC (2009-2015); Assistant City Attorney at the Denver City Attorney’s Office (2005-2009); and a Law Clerk for the Honorable Jane Tidball in the First Judicial District (2005-2007). Ms. DeWick earned her B.S. from the University of Colorado in 2001 and her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2005.
