Governor Polis Appoints Kelly E. Waidler to the Douglas County Court in the 18th Judicial District

DENVER - Today Governor Polis appointed Kelly E. Waidler to the Douglas County Court in the 18th Judicial District. This vacancy is created by the retirement of the Honorable Susanna Meissner-Cutler. Waidler’s appointment is effective May 8, 2021. 

Waidler is currently a Chief Deputy District Attorney in the Denver District Attorney’s Office, a position she has held since 2020. Her practice consists of criminal prosecution. Previously, Waidler was a Senior Deputy District Attorney (2015-2020) and Deputy District Attorney (2008-2015) in the Denver District Attorney’s Office. She earned her B.A. from Colorado College in 2005 and her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2007.
