DENVER - Today, as part of Governor Polis’ Vaccines for All efforts, the Governor visited the State Community Vaccination Site at the Ranch Events Complex in Larimer County to kick off the start of walk-in vaccinations.
“Getting a COVID vaccine is now even easier in Colorado. All you have to do is show up, roll up your sleeve, and get this lifesaving vaccine. It’s simple, free, and the vaccine is highly effective. I encourage everyone who has not been vaccinated to make a plan to do so today. You’re not only protecting yourself, but your loved ones and everyone else in your community,” said Governor Polis. “There’s enough supply out there, Colorado, that everyone who wants a vaccine can get one. I urge all my fellow Coloradans to do their part and get vaccinated.”
Four Community Vaccination Sites throughout the state will now accept walk-ins and individuals will no longer need an appointment in advance to get the vaccine. These sites are:
- Pueblo County: Colorado State Fairgrounds from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday
- Larimer County: The Ranch from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday
- Denver County: Ball Arena from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday
- Mesa County: Grand Junction Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday
