Governor Laura Kelly Directs Flags be Lowered to Half-Staff in Honor of Kansas Representative Gail Finney

TOPEKA – In accordance with Executive Order #20-30, Governor Laura Kelly has directed flags be lowered to half-staff on all state buildings, grounds, and facilities effective immediately until the day of interment, in honor of Kansas Representative Gail Finney. Finney represented Kansas House District 84 of Wichita for 13 years. 

“Kansas lost a warrior today. No one fought harder for her constituents, for her community, for justice and equity than Representative Gail Finney,” Governor Kelly said. “My thoughts are with Rep. Finney’s family and friends during this difficult time.”
