Today, Business Owners for Kemp – a coalition of entrepreneurs and innovators throughout the Peach State – released a list of more than 50 hardworking Georgians who are supporting conservative businessman Brian Kemp for Governor.

“Brian Kemp is a small businessman with years of experience in real estate development and construction, banking, timber, agri-business, and farming,” said Danny Blackmon, Chairman of Business Owners for Kemp. “From the backhoe to the boardroom, Kemp knows how to create jobs, grow companies, recruit start-ups, and make deals on the international stage. With his business, legislative, and executive branch experience, no one is more qualified to be Georgia’s next CEO.”

“As governor, I will work to make Georgia #1 for small business,” said Kemp. “Through regulatory reform, targeted economic development, and enhanced connectivity, we can ensure that businesses on Main Street can compete, grow, and thrive.

“I am honored to have the strong support of so many fellow entrepreneurs and business leaders from all four corners of this great state. Together, we will fight for small businesses and the Georgians who work there!”

Since announcing his run, Kemp has earned endorsements from county leaders, local elected officials, and grassroots conservatives. Former Congressman Bob Barr, Georgia Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens, and media personality Barbara Dooley also back Kemp for governor.
