Carter: Biden is killing our economy

Our GDP fell 1.4% in the first quarter of 2022 according to data released today, the weakest showing since the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Rep Earl L. “Buddy” Carter (R-GA) responded to this dismal number, which fell far below economists’ expectations:

“The Biden Administration is actively preventing our workers, job creators, and small business owners from succeeding. Any President who presides over record high inflation and a shrinking economy must come to terms with the truth: their policies are failing. Americans can’t afford Washington Democrats’ one-party rule, which comes with a hefty price tag of $5,200 a year and is only going up.

“It’s time to restart student loan payments, cut back on federal spending, unleash American energy dominance, and encourage our private sector to do what it does best – innovate.”
