Congressman Andy Levin said a new allotment of federal money coming to St. Clair Shores, Mount Clemens, Eastpointe, Clinton Township and other metro communities is an example of good government working for constituents back home.
Speaking at a March 11 press conference at the Madison Heights Public Library, Levin, D-Bloomfield Township, said that while earmarks had been riddled with problems in the past, this round of federal spending was developed by congressional representatives working with their communities to get important projects funded.
