(Athens, GA) – On Tuesday, conservative businessman and Republican nominee for governor, Brian Kemp, addressed the Georgia Sheriff’s Association summer conference. Kemp outlined his conservative 4-Point Plan to put hardworking Georgians first, discussed his proposals to reform the state’s public safety system, and reaffirmed his support for Georgia’s law enforcement community.
“We need a governor who will give our men and women in uniform the tools and resources they need to keep our families safe,” Kemp said.
“For months, I’ve worked with local prosecutors like District Attorney Vic Reynolds, members of the GBI, and many in this room to develop plans to deport criminal aliens and crush street gangs. As governor, I will lead on Law and Order. I refuse to accept the status quo or back down from the radical left.”
Kemp discussed public safety reform and his comprehensive plan to deport criminal aliens in Georgia.
“By implementing the Track and Deport plan, we can stand up to the criminal aliens who are threatening our families and stand with those in uniform who are working to stop them.”

Finally, Kemp highlighted his proposal to Stop and Dismantle criminal gangs in Georgia.
“While deporting criminal aliens from the Peach State will certainly impact the opioid epidemic, curb sex trafficking, lower crime rates, and protect families from violence, we must stop gang violence and dismantle gang infrastructure to secure a bright future for Georgia families.
“To stop and dismantle gangs in Georgia, we developed a comprehensive approach that raises public awareness, funds the Criminal Street Gang Database, empowers the Attorney General’s office, and provides local law enforcement with resources and manpower.”
