U.S. Congressman Drew Ferguson (R-Ga.) today announced Leah Ross, a senior at Trinity Christian School, as the winner of the 2022 Congressional Art Competition for the Third District. Leah’s artwork, titled “Shattered Emotions,” will be sent to Washington, D.C. and displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year.
“The talent in the Congressional Art Competition gets better and better each year,” Ferguson said. “It’s truly a testament to how impressive Georgia’s young people are and the impact our incredible art community has on our students. I want to thank all of the wonderful artists who participated in this year’s competition, and a big congratulations to Leah Ross for taking this year’s top prize! The winning piece, ‘Shattered Emotions,’ is a great example of the kind of skill that this contest is designed to highlight.
