U.S. Congressman Drew Ferguson (R-Ga.) co-signed a letter led by U.S. Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) to President Biden and Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Robert Califf asking a variety of questions, including details regarding the supply of formula, the recall of certain formulas, and whether the Administration has performed outreach to pediatric hospitals.

“Amid another mounting crisis—a nationwide shortage of baby formula—President Biden is once again caught flat-footed with no plan,” Ferguson said. “His failed leadership is a disaster for families. Formula isn’t a luxury, it’s an absolute necessity and the sole source of nutrition for nearly a fifth of our nation’s infants. Simply put, no parent should have to ration formula to feed their child, and President Biden owes us a plan to immediately address this crisis.”
