U.S. Congressman Drew Ferguson (R-Ga.) announced that public voting for the 2022 Congressional Art Competition People’s Choice Award is now open. Through Friday, May 6th, at 11:59 p.m., Third District residents are invited to view all 69 high school students’ entries on Ferguson’s Facebook page and vote for their favorite piece of artwork. The winner of the People’s Choice Award will have their work displayed in his Newnan District Office for the next year.
“The Third District of Georgia has some exceptionally talented high school artists, and I’m thrilled to offer this opportunity to let them showcase their unique artwork,” Ferguson said. “I encourage folks to check out the creativity of these students and vote for their favorite piece on my Facebook page. The artist whose work receives the most online votes will receive this year’s ‘People’s Choice Award.’ I wish all our students good luck, and I thank them for participating.”
Ferguson’s office will award one point for each “like” and two points for each “share” (with a limit of one share per person per day).
