CONGRESSMAN FERGUSON CONGRATULATES COWETA COUNTY STUDENT ON ACADEMY APPOINTMENT

On Thursday, March 17, 2022, U.S. Congressman Drew Ferguson (R-Ga.) congratulated Grant Ward, a senior at Northgate High School, on his appointment to the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Grant will receive a full scholarship, including room, board, tuition, health care, and a stipend, and upon graduation, he will be a commissioned officer.

“I was thrilled to welcome Grant Ward and his family to my Washington, D.C. office as he received his formal appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy,” said Ferguson. “A tremendous amount of hard work and a sustained record of excellence throughout Grant’s high school career led to this moment. This Academy appointment is an outstanding honor, and I’m proud to have the opportunity to present this accomplishment in-person to a very deserving leader. We thank Grant for his commitment to serve, and the entire community is extremely proud of him.”
