ATLANTA – Today the Kemp for Governor campaign announced that the Police Benevolent Association of Georgia has endorsed conservative small businessman Governor Brian Kemp for re-election.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Police Benevolent Association of Georgia, I am proud to announce our endorsement of Governor Brian Kemp as he runs for re-election. Since 2002 when he was first endorsed by us and elected to the Georgia Senate, Brian has demonstrated his strong support for issues of importance to the men and women who put on the uniform and serve in law enforcement throughout Georgia. This has never been better demonstrated than his handling of the many challenges facing our state during his first term as Governor. His leadership is needed now more than ever so our state continues to grow and stays on the proper course for law, order, and the protection of all our citizens and visitors,” said Police Benevolent Association of Georgia President Joe Naia.
“It has never been more dangerous to wear the uniform, and Marty, the girls, and I could not be more grateful for every law enforcement officer who protects and defends the citizens of our great state,” said Governor Kemp. “I am honored to receive an endorsement from the Police Benevolent Association of Georgia, an organization that does great work to support our men and women in law enforcement. I’m grateful for their support and will continue to fight alongside the PBA to show the world that Georgia proudly Backs the Blue!”
