ATLANTA – When conservative small businessman Brian Kemp announced his plan to increase teacher pay by $5,000 in his first term during the 2018 campaign for Governor, Stacey Abrams called it an “election year gimmick” and told Georgia voters the governor could not be trusted to get it done.
Following the completion of that pay raise – the largest in state history – this year by Governor Kemp without raising taxes, Abrams today announced her plans to saddle Georgians with billions more in state government spending annually and demanded the state’s taxpayers foot the bill for her far-left agenda.
