ATLANTA – In her “major economic address” earlier this week, Stacey Abrams attacked the two largest economic development projects in Georgia history that will bring thousands of jobs to rural Georgia and flip-flopped on her support of the tax credits that make these projects possible – which she voted for in the General Assembly.
The Rivian and Hyundai projects – both of which Abrams came after in her speech – will collectively deliver more than 15,000 jobs to rural communities in the Peach State.
“Just like a typical politician, Stacey Abrams is now attacking two projects she previously applauded and the very tax credits she voted for when she was in the legislature,” said Tate Mitchell, Press Secretary. “For decades, these incentive programs have been responsible for transformational investments and thousands of jobs in rural communities across the Peach State.
