Bognet For Congress Announces Nearly $600K Raised in Q2

Pennsylvania

Today, the Bognet For Congress campaign announced nearly $600,000 raised in the second quarter of 2022 ending June 30. This outpouring of financial support is over double what Bognet raised in the same quarter of the 2020 election, and the largest donation total by any GOP House challenger in Pennsylvania.

The $592,503.01 raised comes from over 2,700 individual donors that include business owners, community leaders, teachers, and senior citizens committed to change in November. These Americans have stepped up to support Jim’s campaign to protect working class Pennsylvanians from the radical Biden-Cartwright agenda and the historic inflation and gas prices their agenda has produced.

Jim Bognet stated the following about his fundraising total:

“I am so thankful for the 2,700+ donors that have stepped up and contributed at a record level. The message is clear: Pennsylvanians are rejecting the Biden/Pelosi/Cartwright reckless spending and anti-American energy policies that have devastated working class Pennsylvanians. November is coming, and Matt Cartwright is going!”

Jim Bognet’s Campaign Manager Joe Desilets added the following:

“Both Jim Bognet and Matt Cartwright showed financial support from the people that they would represent in Congress. For Jim, that is the working class people and small business owners of Pennsylvania. For Cartwright, it’s Hollywood and coastal elites, and Washington D.C. lobbyists. Make no mistake: Matt Cartwright represents his donors like AT&T, Chevron, and the scores of lobbyists that are funding his ads in the district. The voters of Pennsylvania’s 8th District won’t be fooled again by Matt Cartwright.”
