U.S. Senate candidate Mike Gibbons has released the following statement on the Convention of States Project:

"The federal government has too many problems, most of which relate back to government overreach, which is why I am in full support of the Convention of States Project. We are in dire need of real change and I believe that a convention is the best way to see effective results. Career politicians need to be kicked out of Washington with term limits, which is why I’m running for the U.S. Senate as a businessman and political outsider. As a U.S. Senator, I will be a strong advocate for this powerful movement."
