Today, John Gibbs announced that his congressional campaign and
authorized committees raised an amazing $380,376 in the first three months of 2022, a
stunning 639 percent increase over the 4th quarter of 2021. This illuminates the very strong
momentum for Gibbs as he prepares to defeat RINO Peter Meijer in Michigan’s August Primary
for the 3rd Congressional District. What’s more, Gibbs’ cash on hand also doubled the previous
quarter, without adding personal loans.
Gibbs is the only candidate in the race and in the country who is endorsed by both President
Trump and Dr. Ben Carson, both of whom he served under for four years in the Trump
administration at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Polling confirms Gibbs’ strong momentum. An independent poll of 400 likely Republican
primary voters in the 3rd District by Impact Research on February 7 showed Gibbs leading by a
stunning 20 points when primary voters know Gibbs is endorsed by former President Trump.
The poll showed 50 percent of GOP primary voters had an unfavorable opinion of Meijer.
“Having such a high unfavorable opinion is significant for a first-term representative whose
name is on every local supermarket. Meijer has cast numerous votes that have turned off
voters, including his very first vote as a Congressman to impeach President Trump, one of only
10 House Republicans to do so.” said Gibbs. “He was also one of a handful of Republicans who
voted in favor of Congress’s latest spending-binge in the face of record-breaking near 8 percent
inflation.”
At the Kent County GOP Convention on April 11, 2022, RINO Peter Meijer drew more boos than
any other point of the meeting. He clearly has no mandate to continue representing Michigan’s
3rd Congressional district.
