Peter Meijer, in his desperation, is running an ad claiming I "moved from California a couple months ago just to run for Congress." Completely FALSE. I spent four years serving in the Trump administration in DC, then returned home to Michigan, where I was born and raised, and where I reside in Byron Center.
Before fighting the swamp in DC under President Trump and Dr. Carson, I earned by B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, worked on cutting edge cybersecurity and technology products in Silicon Valley, served for 7 years as an evangelical missionary in Japan, and earned my Master in Public Administration from Harvard.
Those are pretty good reasons to be away from home. In fact, all these experiences make me far more qualified to represent the good people of West Michigan than Peter Meijer or the Democrat challenger. Thank you!
