I am honored to have won last night’s primary election and have the chance to earn the vote of my 3rd District community in November! Thank you to everyone who prayed, knocked, yard-signed, hugged, and voted our way to victory yesterday. The night was yours.
Against all odds, we prevailed. We visited every city and township in the new district, getting to know many great folks in our community. We knocked lots of doors and got tons of yard signs out. Most importantly, many people prayed fervently for God to intervene on our behalf. Thank you to my team and our volunteers for their great work in making this all happen.
I would like to thank President Trump, who took the time to call me last night. He offered congratulations and encouraged me to keep up the fight all the way to victory in November. I thanked him for his support and said that we expect to work hard and win in the fall.
I give thanks to my former boss, Dr. Ben Carson, whose support and example made this possible.
And I would like to thank Peter Meijer, who graciously called me last night to offer congratulations and kind words of encouragement. Peter fought a tough campaign and I wish him the best.
Yet now before us, a new challenge begins. The fight ahead will require even more of us than before. I’m confident, with God’s help, that myself, my team, and our great volunteers are more than up to the task. In fact, we’re already hard at work to ensure a great outcome in the fall. On to victory!
