Today, Congressman Bill Huizenga (MI-02) released the following statement after voting against the start of the Democrats’ partisan budget process.

“This decision sets in motion a partisan process that will allow Democrats to implement far-left political priorities well outside the pandemic under the guise of covid relief,” said Congressman Bill Huizenga. “Prior to this, Congress found a way to work in a bipartisan manner to deliver relief and address concerns with the economy caused by the pandemic. By making this choice, Democrats are making it clear that this is purely about politics not passing targeted relief to help American families and our economy recover.”
