Huizenga Votes "No" on Democrat Plan to "Deem and Pass" $480 Billion Debt Limit Increase

Last night, Congressman Bill Huizenga voted against the Democrat proposal to "deem and pass" a $480 billion increase in the debt limit. Democrats played procedural games trying to avoid an up or down vote on increasing the debt limit through a rule vote. Making matters worse, nearly 200 members of congress did not even bother to show up in person to vote. Instead they voted by "proxy."

Following his vote, Congressman Huizenga took to Facebook Live to provide an update to West Michigan and share his thoughts about how the U.S. House of Representatives is being poorly run at the expense of America's future. You can watch Rep. Huizenga's full video below.
