Yesterday, Congressman Bill Huizenga released the following statement after learning of the passing of his friend and former colleague, Congressman Dan Benishek.
"Dan Benishek was a man who cared about his community, state and country. He was a cheerful advocate who fought with passion for common sense UP values. I am proud to call Dr. Dan a friend & he will be deeply missed. My heart goes out to his wife Judy, his family, & Team Benishek. May he Rest In Peace."
