Val Demings solidified her spot in the school lockdown camp at the American Federation of Teachers Convention in Boston, praising the organization’s president Randi Weingarten.
“Leadership is not easy,” Demings said at the convention. “I really do believe in giving honor to whom honor is due and I want to start by giving honor to your president, the amazing Randi Weingarten.”
As Guy Benson put it on his radio show, “She loves Randi.” But America’s parents certainly don’t.

Weingarten led the fight to keep kids across the country out of school for months, which contributed to unprecedented learning loss for an entire generation, and Demings endorsed it.
