Today, Marco Rubio spoke at the Sarasota and Manatee County GOP Candidates rally. Rubio spoke about what is at stake in November and the importance of electing Republicans up and down the ballot.
“This is still – despite our challenges, despite our problems, despite the terrible leadership we see in high positions – this is still the single greatest nation in the history of all mankind,” said Rubio.
“I think every single one of you knows someone who has never voted for a Republican in their lives, but they’re going to now. Not because they agree with us on every issue…but because we agree on what we can agree on, and what we can agree on is common sense,” Rubio continued. “The choice in American politics today is no longer simply left and right, or Republican or Democrat…the choice is between common sense and complete and utter lunacy.”
