Today, Grosse Pointe Farms City Councilman Neil Sroka, Former Grosse Pointe Park Councilwoman Darci McConnell, and former State Representative and current Wayne State Professor Tim Bledsoe, of Grosse Pointe, endorsed Adam Hollier for Congress.

“I am happy to endorse Adam Hollier for Michigan’s 13th Congressional District,” Grosse Pointe Farms City Councilmember Neil Sroka said. “Grosse Pointers need someone representing us in Washington who is committed to understanding the unique issues we face and helping us work with our neighbors to make every corner of the 13th District a great place to live and raise a family – and that’s who Adam has been as our State Senator. I’ve been proud to have Adam representing the Grosse Pointes in Lansing, and I’m proud to have his back in his race for Congress.”

“I’ve known Adam for more than a decade, and aside from being incredibly bright, he’s diligent, understands the value of compromise, is responsive and has a very strong work ethic,” Former Grosse Pointe Park City Councilmember Darci McConnell said. “He took quick action in 2021 when floods ravaged the Pointes as well as the Eastside of Detroit. He also has a knack for making complex policy issues plain for his constituents. I think that Adam will serve the residents of the 13th Congressional District well, and he has my support.”

In addition to these elected officials, Senator Hollier has also received the endorsement of former Michigan House of Representatives member and current Wayne State Professor Tim Bledsoe. Mr. Bledsoe is a resident of Grosse Pointe.

“I first got to know Adam when I served in the state legislature and he was on the legislative staff.  However, I came to really appreciate the kind of man he is when I watched him interact with my undergraduate students in multiple visits to my classroom,” Wayne State Professor and Former State Representative Tim Bledsoe (D-Grosse Pointe) said. “Adam engaged these young adults in a way that I have rarely witnessed before.  His compelling talk of the virtue of public service clearly resonated with them.  He is exactly the kind of role model for young people that we so desperately need in these challenging times.”

“I am proud to currently represent the Grosse Pointes in the Michigan State Legislature, and I am excited to continue to do so as a federal representative,” Senator Hollier said. “Grosse Pointe Park, Grosse Pointe Shores, Grosse Pointe Woods, Grosse Pointe Farms and the City of Grosse Pointe are very special communities that are part of the 13th District. Their challenges and triumphs are unique, and I look forward to working in partnership with these communities to build the brightest future possible for all residents.”

This group of leaders joins this large group of endorsers, including Councilwoman Regina Williams from Harper Woods, the Original East Side Slate, and Wayne County Executive Warren Evans, in supporting Adam Hollier for Michigan’s 13th Congressional District.
