ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

Following Attorney General Merrick Garland’s press conference today, his first official statement since the Department of Justice approved an FBI raid of former President Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago, Rep. Earl L. “Buddy” Carter (R-GA) delivered the following statement calling out his hypocrisies:

“Merrick Garland says that the law should be applied evenly and fairly. I could not agree more. That is why I am eagerly awaiting his inquiry into Hunter Biden and for Republicans to retake the House Majority so we can have a full investigation into the political stunt that was this FBI raid. A sitting President launching this level of attack against a potential future political opponent is unprecedented, un-American, and House Republicans will not stand for it.”
