Today, former United States Senator Sam Nunn announced his support for Congresswoman Carolyn Bourdeaux's reelection. Senator Nunn is a longtime supporter of Congresswoman Bourdeaux and supported her election in 2020. Senator Sam Nunn joins Ambassador Andrew Young, Gwinnett Commission Chair Nicole Love Hendrickson, and dozens of Georgia elected officials in backing Rep. Carolyn Bourdeaux for reelection in her Gwinnett-based district.

Senator Sam Nunn said, “Washington needs leaders with both fresh ideas and a fresh approach to governance. I support Carolyn’s emphasis on smart, compassionate and responsible health care reform; her commitment to invest in and improve education to ensure that our young people are equipped for the jobs of the future—through both college and skilled training programs; and her willingness to use her experience in financial management to help broaden economic opportunities for everyone.
