“For so many Americans, crushing student loans are a constant source of stress. President Biden’s targeted student loan cancellation will provide relief to millions of borrowers and will most significantly impact those with greatest need. This is an important step to make higher education more accessible and ensure every American has the resources to reach their goals. Higher education is an investment in the future of our country, and students should not be intimidated by the burden of cost or future debt. We must continue to work to lower the cost of education by making community college accessible to all and expanding access to Pell Grants.”
