West Virginia

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney voted against H.R. 4346, the CHIPs-Plus Act. This Democrat proposal is a green light for higher taxes, increased inflation, and corporate welfare. All this, as President Joe Biden’s economy has officially fallen into a recession.

“It is important that the United States compete with China. We do not need to increase spending to further fuel the out-of-control inflation crisis in our nation. Now is not the time to increase our deficit and pave the way for the Senate’s big spending and tax raising deal” said Congressman Alex X. Mooney. “The Biden economy is now in a recession that is hurting West Virginia families. We must stop these reckless spending proposals and get our country back on the right track.”
