DENVER - U.S. Senate candidate Joe O’Dea has released his first Spanish radio advertisement, highlighting his campaign’s focus on expanding the Republican base and reaching new audiences.

“The Hispanic and Latino community in the United States is truly a beautiful blend of cultures, customs, and traditions that has brought vibrance to the American story,” said Joe O’Dea. “For decades, I’ve gotten to work with first- and second-generation immigrants from across Latin America and I truly believe these hard-working, faithful people are starting to hear and respond to the principles the Republican Party stands for - freedom, individual responsibility, and family. My campaign isn’t about me - it’s about our collective future - and it’s about the opportunities we want our grandchildren to have. I am excited for all we can accomplish together.”

The voice of the ad, Celeste O’Dea, is Joe’s wife of 33 years. Her grandparents immigrated in the early 1900s from Michoacán and Penjamo, Mexico.

“Nobody knows hard work like the Hispanic and Latino community of Colorado,” said Celeste O’Dea. “They understand what it means to sacrifice for your family, to struggle, and they also know that our current leaders in Washington have failed to advocate for them. I know my Spanish was a bit rusty, but I am so glad that I could be a part of spreading Joe’s message.”

The radio ad, which will play on Spanish radio across the state, began on Friday and will run until the second week of April. You can listen to the full radio ad here.
