DENVER – Colorado Democrats and far-left dark money groups are launching a massive campaign to hijack the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate – propping up Ron Hanks in a desperate attempt to save Senator Michael Bennet.

On the same day far-left groups launched a nearly $1 million broadcast TV buy “attacking” Ron Hanks for being a conservative to conservative television audiences, they are hosting a press conference pushing false statements and phony narratives about the leading Senate candidate, construction CEO Joe O’Dea.

“Joe Biden is wrecking the country and the Democrats' only hope of winning Colorado is a multi-million act of desperation – hijacking the Republican nomination for an unserious candidate who has zero chance of winning,” said construction CEO and U.S. Senate candidate Joe O’Dea.

“Joe O’Dea is a man of integrity, character, and guts,” said Nick Rogers, President of the Denver Police Protective Association“The political hacks pushing these bogus attacks on Joe are the same far-left liberal groups who pushed anti-police legislation, fought to weaken penalties for fentanyl possession, and pushed the crazy anti-drilling policies that have brought Colorado nearly $5.00 gas. They have zero credibility.”

The Denver Police Protective Association is the largest police union in the state with more than 1,400 members. They endorsed O’Dea, the son of a Denver cop, back in January.

Far-left Democrats are threatened by Joe O’Dea’s story and candidacy, so they are meddling in the primary to boost Ron Hanks. Hanks has no infrastructure, has raised $38,778.74 in six months, and is not running a serious campaign. He’s also an election conspiracy theorist who blew up a voting machine in his announcement video and has changed his positions on abortion, unions, and guns.
