DENVER — Construction CEO Joe O'Dea's U.S. Senate campaign launched a new TV ad campaign highlighting him as the candidate who will take the fight to Joe Biden and exposing Ron Hanks' record as a flip-flopping, fake conservative.

The O'Dea campaign is launching a :30 second TV ad titled: “The Real Ron.”

“You can't trust Ron Hanks; he flip flops on gun control, abortion, and term limits. He's a fake conservative with a very bizarre voting record, like voting against a bill that punishes teachers for seducing 18 year-old students. A flip-flopping politician won't beat Michael Bennet. A conservative construction CEO will,” said O'Dea's campaign manager, Zack Roday.

Full transcript below:

Voiceover: Joe O'Dea, a construction CEO, not a politician. Joe O'Dea will take the fight to Biden. Ron Hanks, he's a politician. Since running for Congress in California, Hanks has flip-flopped all over. Now Hanks claims he's a conservative. But Ron Hanks was the only Republican to oppose a law punishing teachers who seduce 18 year-old students. Joe O'Dea, he'll take the fight to Biden. Ron Hanks, another flip-flopping politician.

Joe O'Dea: I'm Joe O'Dea, and I approve this message.

Dark money continues to pour into Colorado as Democrats prop up Ron Hanks’ campaign. This estimated $5 million dollar effort includes the use of illegal, dark money mail pieces with no disclaimers and false statements. The O’Dea for Senate campaign recently launched a multi-pronged legal strategy to expose this outrageous insult to voters.
