Denver, CO — Political outsider, successful business leader, and Republican nominee for U.S. Senate Joe O’Dea's campaign released a new TV ad campaign featuring Celeste O'Dea — Joe's wife of 34 years. Celeste, a retired clinical laboratory scientist, highlights Joe's background as a working American and the political underdog ready to fight for Colorado.

The O'Dea campaign is launching a :30 second TV ad titled: “Underdog.”

“Celeste is my rock and we're in this race together. I'm running to be a voice for working Americans, for the underdogs out there. I know Bennet has the money, but I never do anything halfway, and I like being the underdog.” said Joe O'Dea.

Full transcript below:

Celeste O'Dea: My husband Joe's been an underdog his whole life. Adopted at birth. Union carpenter. Left college early. Started a construction company from our basement. Joe's a fighter, always has been. He cares about the country, not a political party. When Joe O'Dea says he's American before he's a Republican, he means it. When Joe says he will fight for the underdogs trying to get ahead, he will, because he is one.

Joe O'Dea: I'm Joe O'Dea, and I approve this message.
