Ron Wyden: ADD YOUR NAME. TELL CONGRESS: PROTECT OUR SOCIAL SECURITY

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

Social Security and Medicare benefits will run out in just 15 years unless Congress renews funding for these two critical programs.

Meanwhile, instead of working across party lines to get this done and safeguard these lifelines for seniors, Republicans are up to their same old tricks to rip away your hard-earned benefits to pay for their tax handouts to big corporations and the mega-wealthy.

Just a few years ago, Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell moved mountains to blow a $2 trillion hole in the deficit to give a tax handout to the wealthy and well-connected. Now Republicans are already making it clear that if they retake power this November, they're going to prioritize cutting Social Security and Medicare to pay for their handouts to the ultra-rich.

We must invest in these lifelines so that seniors can rely on them for generations to come. Sign my petition. Tell Congress: Protect my Social Security!

Instead of protecting your Social Security benefits, Republicans are already making it clear they will do everything they can to rip them away if they gain power.

This is not some handout. Our seniors have worked decades to ensure that they can retire with dignity, not so Republicans can create a slush fund for special interests and billionaires to plunder.

The clock is ticking on protecting Social Security and Medicare benefits before they run out. Add your name to tell Congress: protect my hard-earned Social Security!

Let's stand together for all Americans,

Ron
