Yesterday, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham introduced a horrifying bill to ban abortion nationwide.
I am disgusted.
If Republicans succeed in taking back control of Congress, they'll do everything in their power to get this bill passed and outlaw abortion nationwide.
Lindsey Graham himself said point blank that "If we take back the House and the Senate, I can assure you we'll have a vote on our bill."
Republicans are telling women in Oregon and across the country that they can't have an abortion – even in states that have vowed to protect access to safe and legal abortion. I don't think so.
It's imperative that we keep a pro-choice majority in Senate this November. Can you chip in now to build a strong pro-choice majority?
I promise to do everything in my power to keep this bill and any like it from becoming law, but Democrats need your help to hold onto our majority to make sure we can continue our important work protecting access to health care.
