Jason Garcia’s reporting details the steps DeSantis took to pave the way for FP&L – which ranks among one of the governor’s top donors with over $3 million in campaign contributions – to run amok in Tallahassee and effectively cripple any governing authority the Office of Public Counsel had in protecting Floridians from rate increases.
