U.S. Representative Drew Ferguson (GA-03) is encouraging job seekers to attend his career fair on Wednesday, September 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Callaway Conference Center at West Georgia Technical College in LaGrange. The event will feature over 50 employers hiring for more than 4,500 available positions across a wide variety of industries, including salaried and hourly positions. The event is free and open to all Georgians. Through the Three Rivers Regional Commission, the fair will also include WorkSource Three Rivers to help applicants with career services assistance and other job development efforts.
“The key to continuing our economic recovery is getting Georgians back to work,” Ferguson said. “With more than 50 employers from Georgia’s Third District and the surrounding area participating in this hiring event, there are jobs looking for people right now. I hope to see many Georgians who are in the market for a new job or career change in LaGrange as we work to keep Georgia the best place to work, raise a family, and do business.”
