Ad warns listeners of George Soros’s takeover scheme to manipulate local Hispanic media
Governor Ron DeSantis’s re-election campaign today announced the launch of a PSA that denounces a George Soros purchase of Hispanic radio stations meant to disinform the community. The Spanish-language “Alerta” ad was submitted to run on Miami radio stations (WAQI-AM and WQBA-AM) and warns listeners of the leftist motives behind his media ventures. WAQI-AM and WQBA-AM were recently announced as part of the Soros-backed acquisition of Spanish Language radio.

The formation of a new Hispanic media company known as the Latino Media Network was announced on Friday, June 3. The George Soros-funded and Obama/Biden alum-run network will include 18 Hispanic radio stations in 10 different markets, including Miami, which were purchased from TelevisaUnivision in a $60 million deal.
