Today, Governor Ron DeSantis endorsed María Elvira Salazar for re-election to represent Florida’s 27th Congressional District in the 118th Congress.
“Maria Elvira Salazar is a fighter for South Florida,” said Governor DeSantis. “I look forward to continuing to work with her to keep Florida free and to hold the Biden administration accountable.”
“Governor DeSantis’ leadership kept Florida free during some of the most draconian lockdowns of this century supported by Annette Taddeo and Nancy Pelosi,” said Rep. Salazar. “I look forward to continuing to work with Governor DeSantis to keep Florida the most free, prosperous state in the Union and the American Dream alive and well. ”
Salazar has previously been endorsed by former United Nations Ambassador and Governor Nikki Haley, former Secretary of State and CIA director Mike Pompeo, and current U.S. Senator Tim Scott. She has also been endorsed by the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO).
